New Products Showcase
Pre-show registration for New Products Showcase is now closed. Please read the information for onsite registration. ONSITE REGISTRATIONNew Products Showcase onsite registration will take place from 8am to 6pm on set-up day, Tuesday, March 23, 2010. The entry price for a Best New Product will be $400.00 and an entry for Point-of-Purchase display will be $450.00.
AWARDS ANNOUNCEMENT AND PRESENTATIONAll winners of the New Products Showcase will be posted at the Annual Networking Reception, scheduled for the evening of Friday, March 26, 2010. All registered exhibitors and attendees are invited to attend the reception free of charge. All exhibitors who submit entries are strongly encouraged to attend this special event. The spotlight may be on YOU and YOUR WINNING NEW PRODUCT(S). **Winners must pick up their awards and logo cd on Saturday, March 27th at 1:00 pm in Room W314A located on Level 2 of the Orange County Convention Center. Our show photographer will be there to take a group picture to be distributed with a press release.
What is the New Products Showcase? The New Products Showcase gives exhibitors the opportunity to highlight their newest lines while getting additional exposure for their products at Global Pet Expo. It is also an opportunity for key international and domestic buyers to see what's new and what's hot in the industry. They can look, study, compare, and contact you at your booth for more information and to place orders. This adds excitement to the Show and helps focus further attention on your products. The New Product Showcase always receives a great deal of interest at the Show as well as coverage in trade publications. This 30,000 square foot space on the trade show floor is set aside to recognize the year's best creative efforts in New Product and Point-of-Purchase Displays by Global Pet Expo Exhibitors. With hundreds of entries, this is the largest new products showcase at any pet product industry trade show in the world. Each new product is allotted 2 feet by 2 feet of quality space (4 feet by 2 feet for Point-of-Purchase entries) in order to display each product in the best manner possible. Why should you participate?By exhibiting in the New Product Showcase, your company benefits from dual exposure at your booth and at the display area. We provide you with the opportunity to introduce what's new and what's hot while simultaneously maximizing sales interest in your product. You will also be helping the industry put its best foot forward for our buyers and the media. Cost to Enter the New Products ShowcaseBest New Product: The cost per entry is $200. This pre-show discount is available until February 26th. Entries submitted onsite at Global Pet Expo will cost $400 each. Each entry will be allocated a 2' x 2' display space. Within this space, you can show one product or a series of the same product. If this entry requires a larger space, additional 2' x 2' spaces can be purchased. If you would like to show more than one new product, please submit a separate entry form and display card for each. Do not mail product to Global Pet Expo.
Best New Point-of-Purchase Display: The cost per entry is $250. This pre-show discount is available until February 26th. Entries submitted onsite at Global Pet Expo will cost $450 each. A 4' long by 2' deep space will be provided. If the entry requires more than a 4' x 2' space, additional spaces can be purchased. If the entry requires floor rather than table space, please indicate this on the entry form. Do not mail product to Global Pet Expo.
Oversized Products: Products exceeding 3 feet or 36 inches in height may be placed in a designated floor space at no extra charge. Requirements to Enter the New Products ShowcaseAny New Product or Point-of-Purchase Display first shipped after last year's Global Pet Expo (February 15, 2009) will be considered. The product or display must be new for the participating company, not merely a revision. If a radical improvement has been made on an old product the changes must be indicated on the application. In the event of any dispute, Global Pet Expo's decision will be final. No entry may be submitted if it was submitted in a previous Global Pet Expo New Products Showcase. Cancellation PolicyAfter January 29, 2010, a $100 processing fee will be applied to all cancelled New Products Showcase Entries. How do I enter the New Products Showcase? An entry form must be completed for each entry and submitted online to Global Pet Expo with payment in order to qualify. Please limit product descriptions to 20 words or less for each entry. Payment in full must be submitted with each entry form. Check, Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted. Please note that all payments via check or wire transfer must be received no later than Monday, February 15, 2010. Link to the entry form is at the bottom of this page. There will be a Best in Show, Second and Third prize awarded in each of these categories. New Point of Purchase Display Award: A Best in Show, Second and Third prize for the best point-of-purchase display will be awarded. The Judges: The professional buyers who attend the Show will judge the 2010 New Products Showcase and the Point-of-Purchase Display Awards Competition. Responsibility for products submittedAll participants will be responsible for transporting their entries to and from the New Products Showcase. Guards will be on duty 24 hours a day, however, due to the size of the New Products Showcase, Global Pet Expo cannot be responsible for loss, damage or vandalism of any kind to individual products and/or displayed items. All items must be brought directly to the display area between 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on set-up day, Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Exhibitors must remove their own display items between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m.on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Any items unclaimed after 6:00 p.m. will be donated to charity by Global Pet Expo.
