Onsite Press Registration

Pre-registration for Global Pet Expo is now closed.  

Global Pet Expo is open to qualified members of the press including print, television and online writers, reporters, editorial staff, bloggers and publishers. Please read below for our credential requirements. 

**We do not provide credentials to members of the sales or advertising force at media outlets.**
Selling of subscriptions or advertising space is not permitted prior to the Show or on the trade show floor, and violators will be removed along with their press credentials. Visit http://globalpetexpo.org/aboutgpe/showrules.asp for all the show rules. 

 

Onsite Registration Information

If you are a member of the press interested in attending Global Pet Expo, please register onsite at the Press Office, Room W205 beginning Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 8am. Please bring a sample of your work, professional reference, photo ID/press credentials, and a business card for verification. 

Approved pre-registered press may pick up their credentials onsite at the Press Office in room W205 at the Orange County Convention Center beginning Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 8am. We'll be serving breakfast starting at 8am before the show opens!

Credential requirements 

Media accreditation is reserved for working members of the press only. This includes editors, reporters, producers, camera crews, still photographers.  While we are typically only looking for one of the following from you, Global Pet Expo staff may request additional information.  Global Pet Expo staff reserves the right to deny an applicant a press/blogger if sufficient credentials are not provided.

Print Media

  • Masthead from a current issue of a publication listing you as an editorial contributor
  • Article published within the past three months with your byline
  • Business card from your media outlet reflecting your editorial role
  • Newsletters will not be considered for media accreditation   

Broadcast Media

  • Letter from the editor/producer on station/network letterhead or from a company email address that states you are covering Global Pet Expo on assignment
  • Press photo ID from your media outlet
  • Business card from your media outlet reflecting your editorial role 

Online Media/Bloggers

  • Masthead from a current issue of a consumer online publication or blog listing you as an editorial contributor
  • Consumer article or blog post published within the past three months with your byline
  • YouTube, Facebook, Twitter sites, personal blogs, communities, forums and user groups will not be considered for media accreditation. The site must be previously established, independent and regularly updated with original and current relevant news. 

Freelancers & Video Production Companies

  • Letter from the editor/producer on station/network letterhead or from a company email address that states you are covering Global Pet Expo on assignment
  • Proof of regular freelance journalism activity (published/broadcasted within the past four months)
  • Business card reflecting editorial role
  • Production crews and photographers hired to film an exhibitor(s) at Global Pet Expo will not be considered for media accreditation and must register with exhibitors. 

Accreditation will NOT be granted to:

  • General managers, account representatives, sales executives, brand executives, PR/marketing and non-editorial media professionals
  • Anyone whose principal purpose for attending Global Pet Expo is, in our judgment, for reasons other than covering it as working news media
