(Stamford, CT) – As preparations for Global Pet Expo 2019 are well underway, Show officials are proud to report that the Show was named to Trade Show Executive Magazine’s (TSE) “Gold 100” honoring the 100 largest shows that “Set The Gold Standard” for the trade show industry. Global Pet Expo was ranked 48th Largest Trade Show in the U.S. and Largest Pet Products Trade Show in the Country at TSE’s Gold 100 Awards & Summit which took place last month.

APPA and Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA) will present the premier industry event, Global Pet Expo, March 20-22, 2019 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. As the first industry trade show of the year, the 2019 Show gives attendees the latest and greatest the industry has to offer. It’s an amazing opportunity for qualified buyers and media to see first-hand all the hottest and newest pet products before they hit store shelves. A qualified buyer attending Global Pet Expo works for an established business with a proven record of purchasing pet products from a manufacturer or distributor in quantity for resale to the consumer. The Show has grown in recent years with special sections like the “International Pavilions,” “Natural Pet,” “Boutique,” “Everything Aquatic,” and “What’s New!” drawing specialty manufacturers and attendees alike.
The 2018 Show featured 1,164 exhibitors, 3,523 booths sold, covering 352,300 net square feet of exhibit space—nearly 10,000 feet larger than the 2017 Show. 6,508 qualified buyers, 2,100 of which were first-time buyers, representing 79 countries around the world were in attendance. Attendees are also encouraged to attend educational seminars. Managed by PIDA, the 2018 seminar lineup featured 20 different speakers offering 35 hours of retailer education on topics such as social media marketing, competing with online retailers, merchandising tips, customer service solutions and the hottest topics in employment law.
