(Greenwich, CT)— Bob Vetere, president of the American Pet Product Association (APPA) is proud to announce the sponsors for the 2010 Global Pet Expo. This year’s sponsors included 25 companies from the pet products industry who exhibited at the three-day show in Orlando, Florida, March 25-27.
“Sponsorships provide exhibitors with an amazing opportunity to maximize their exposure at Global Pet Expo,” Vetere said. “We try to enhance an exhibitor’s experience by offering a wide variety of sponsorship opportunities at Global Pet Expo, and truly appreciate all sponsors for contributing to the success of the pet industry’s largest annual trade show.”
Sponsorship opportunities ranging from hosting the annual breakfast and networking receptions on the second day of Global Pet Expo, to branding the lanyards worn by all attending buyers and press were available for purchase. Sponsorships have always been a great way for companies to display product and gain brand equity, as well as increase their exposure and drive traffic to their booths at the Show. In a post show survey, 70% of buyers stated they were aware of Global Pet Expo sponsors at the Show, proving that sponsorships are an effective marketing tool for exhibitors.

Global Pet Expo, the pet industry’s largest annual trade show, is presented by the American Pet Products Association (APPA) and Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA). The 2010 Show featured 803 exhibitors, 2,250 booths and more than 3,000 new product launches. 4,495 pet product buyers from around the world attended. In 2011, Global Pet Expo will take place March 16-18, 2011, in Orlando, FL. Global Pet Expo is open to independent retailers, distributors, mass-market buyers, and other qualified professionals.
